Memorial Scholarship Fund
As part of the ICES mission statement, our organization provides opportunities for continuing education and this is partially funded in loving memory of folks in our community who have passed on. Many of our members choose to donate funds for scholarships in order to remember a loved one, a mentor, or someone who has promoted the art of sugarcraft. We currently have five named scholarships, or you can choose to start a new one by filling out the form below. Thank you for helping to remember these dearly departed sugar artists with your donation.

Wilbur Brand Memorial Award
Wilbur Brand Memorial Award
The ICES Board of Directors created the Wilbur Brand Memorial Award in 1989 to honor people who have given exceptional service to ICES but would not necessarily be candidates for the Hall of Fame. The name of the award, unanimously chosen by the board, gives special recognition to Wilbur Brand. Wilbur worked in many capacities on behalf of ICES from the time of its inception, and at the time of his death was an elected member of the ICES Board of Directors.
Although nominees do not have to be ICES members, they must be living and must have contributed exceptional service to ICES for an extended period of time, three or more years. Persons serving on the Board of Directors are not eligible to be nominated for this award during their term.
