ICES Charter Member 31 years

Rena owned and operated her own candy and cake decorating business in Sapulpa, OK for 34 years. She made many wonderful friends through her work. She took great pride in decorating wedding and birthday cakes. Rena was a charter member of ICES and twice served on the ICES Board of Directors as the Corresponding Secretary and many other committees. She was a nominee for Wilbur Brand Service award. Since 1977 she had attended almost every ICES convention. She loved ICES and gained much knowledge through her participation in the group. She regularly attended the Missouri Days of Sharing as well as Oklahoma’s. She had been an ICES Representative for Oklahoma and was the Manpower Chairman along with her husband Ray for the 1999 ICES Convention in Kansas City, MO. She and Ray usually went to convention a day or two early just so they could volunteer.
