Days of Sharing

ICES Days of Sharing/Chapter Events are local ICES events held by members to meet, decorate, learn and network with other sugar art enthusiasts. Days of Sharing usually include demonstrations, a breakfast and/or lunch and a business meeting.

Connecticut Chapter of ICES Fall Weekend of Sharing will take place on October 4th & 5th at Mitchell’s Restaurant, 1237 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon Rockville, CT.  Our guest instructor will be the very talented Catalina Ortiz from San Antonio, Texas.  On Saturday, Catalina will teach a 6 Hour ~ 3 Flower Wafer Paper Class which will include Roses, Ranunculus & Peonies.  On Sunday morning, Catalina’s class will be Parrot Tulips in Gumpaste.  Come and learn some of the trends and classics in sugar flowers!  The Day of Sharing will follow Sunday’s class and will include a luncheon, demos, raffles and more fun with sugar.  You may sign up for one class, both classes, the Day of Sharing only, or for all three events.
